A really good question came up this past week at THE VILLAGE about the meaning of Jesus' parable about new wine in old wineskins. The interesting thing is that Jesus tells the parable after Jesus is questioned about the fasting practices of his disciples, as opposed to the those of the Pharisees and John's disciples (Matthew 9:14-17 / Mark 2:18-22 / Luke 5:33-39).Take some time to consider these passages for yourself, and we'll revisit this parable in the nearer future.
