July 23rd @ THE VILLAGE

Having covered most of the Older Testament genres, before jumping into the New Testament, this week at THE VILLAGE we'll be taking a look at the book of Jonah...specifically, the first two chapters of Jonah. If you can, please read chapters one and two beforehand (they're short), and you'll be good to go.

Raising Money for Methuselah

Starting this week, THE VILLAGE is starting to raise money to buy a goat through World Vision's gift catalogue. We've nicknamed it "Methuselah" and he/she will cost $150. SO, anytime you have change/cash, please make a donation so that we can help another community in need. And check back here once in a while to see how much has been raised, as we'll be tracking our progress. For more information about this outreach, hit up www.worldvision.ca.

IT'S ON...

THE VILLAGE returns this Sunday night @ 8pm...same place (96 North Oval, Hamilton), but we'll be taking a little break from our regular material (i.e. How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth).

Whether or not you've been able to come out to THE VILLAGE yet, we'd love to see you there!
